About the procedure

A little clarity.
A considered decision.

A brow lift repositions lowered eyebrow tissue and may soften some forehead and frown lines. It focuses on the upper face, where brow descent can contribute to a feeling of heaviness around the eyes. This is different from removing excess eyelid skin, although both concerns may coexist. Your anatomy, hairline and goals help determine which approaches deserve consideration. A consultation should explain likely incision placement, the limits of correction and possible changes in sensation, hair growth or facial movement after surgery.

A little clarity

Your questions,
answered.

Is a brow lift the same as eyelid surgery?

No. A brow lift changes eyebrow position; eyelid surgery addresses eyelid tissue.

Can it stop forehead ageing?

No. Ageing continues, and no fixed duration of results can be promised.

Will my hairline be considered?

Yes. Hairline position helps guide the discussion of incision placement and technique.

Does adding this procedure confirm my suitability?

No. Build My Plan records your interests for discussion. A qualified clinician must assess suitability, risks and any alternatives.

How do I find out my own recovery plan?

Ask your treating team for written instructions, review arrangements and contact details appropriate to your procedure and health.
